Traverstolo, Italy

Market day at Traverstolo, Italy is a fun way to shop and see a wide variety of Italian popular items. The main street through town was closed and vendors were set up all the way into town and it looked like the whole town had turned out to shop.

The vendors offered clothing, lingerie, shoes, perfume and cologne, accessories, food, flowers, and much more.

On another day, there was a flea market type market day that featured vintage things, but we happened upon that as it was almost over, and only a few vendors left.

IMG_5421On our last evening at BibiLoved House, we walked down the road a short ways to have dinner at La Gabbiola. I think we were the only “non-locals” in the restaurant and our wine, pizza and other dish were delicious. (sadly, I can’t remember what the other plate was called).
