Country Living Fair Nashville ~ 2015

I should have posted these last year, but somehow didn’t get around to it. I thought those of you that were thinking of going to this fabulous fair might like to see what they have to offer. The Country Living Fair Nashville takes place at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center in Lebanon, TN. Stella Show Management coordinates the fair and here is their website link for you to get all the details for the 2016 show.

So here’s your photo tour and a few tips. It’s under sheds, in buildings, and outdoors, so bring weather appropriate gear for sun or rain. If you plan on making lots of purchases, you might want to bring along some type of shopping basket or tote bags to carry your treasures. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your patience. It was packed for their first show last year! We had a table set up at the Hospitality Cabin to distribute our Busy Bee Trader magazines and will return again this year.

See you at the Fair! Y’all Come!

Watertown, Tennessee ~ 2016

Located just a 10-15 minute drive from Lebanon and 40 miles east of Nashville, Watertown is a charming little Tennessee town worth the visit. If you like yard sales, be sure and plan on visiting during their Spring and Fall Mile-Long Watertown Yard Sale. Their Spring Yard Sale is April 16, 2016, so mark your calendars! They also offer Excursion Train rides from the Tennessee Central Railway Museum. Find out more about Watertown on their website:, and learn more about their fun train excursion rides at:

Here’s a peek at some of Watertown’s merchants and restaurants. First up is Jim’s Antiques on the Square in this charming brick building. He’s open 8 days a week, and has been in Watertown since 1996. If you have questions about Watertown, Jim’s your man!

Just down the block from Jim’s is Town Square Antiques and they feature antiques, primitives and vintage.

Then there’s Cherished Treasures Antiques & Vintage (they were closed the day we visited) and a cute little ladies boutique.

You’ll find flowers, gifts and home accents at the Watertown Flower Shop.

The Pack Rat Closet is small and filled with antiques, collectibles, “oddities” and stuff.

If you want a hometown restaurant type experience, The Depot Junction Cafe will be sure to please. You can find them on Facebook at this link:

If you have a sweet tooth or need a gift for someone who does, visit the old hardware store and Walker Creek Damn Fine Candy. They’ll give you samples to try of their almond toffee, gourmet caramels and fine Southern confections. They were recently featured on PBS Channel 8’s “Tennessee Crossroads”.

Lulu’s Coffee House Cafe is a coffee house and cafe, and offers live entertainment.

And further down the street are several other merchants along with Mi Ranchito Mexican Restaurant and Nona Lisa’s Pizzeria. Bacon and Butter is A Southern Home Boutique – they were closed the day I visited so check out their website to see what they offer:

Grass Roots Merchants Mall has a variety of dealer offerings as well as a local artist’s wood-burned pictures  – check them out at:

So make plans to step back in time at charming little Watertown, Tennessee! They’re waiting on you!

The Nashville Show, Feb. 2016, Nashville Fairgrounds, Nashville

The Tailgate & Music Valley Antiques Show merged into one entity in 2016, with a name change to the The Nashville Show. Held indoors at the Nashville Fairgrounds Feb. 18-20, 2016, around 140 dealers from across the U.S.  were on hand with antique furniture, folk art, primitives, industrial, linens and quilts, jewelry, pottery, china, holiday memorabilia and much more. This was a great show and packed with shoppers finding treasure when I was distributing Busy Bee Traders. Here’s their website for more info:

Here’s snapshots I took around the show:

That’s all for the 2016 show! Hope you enjoyed your photo tour! See you next year.

Fiddler’s Antiques Show, Feb. 2016, Nashville

The Fiddler’s Antiques Show takes place at the Fiddler’s Inn on Music Valley Drive in Nashville, Tenn., and as always, there was an array of favorite dealers from around the U.S. Most dealers were quite happy with their show sales when I delivered our Busy Bee Traders, and “sold” signs were everywhere on large pieces awaiting pickup. There is everything from fine quality antique furniture to primitives and small collectibles packed into the motel rooms. You never know what you’ll find, and prices are generally pretty reasonable. Check them out in 2017!

Here’s snapshots from their 2016 show.
